The Gallatin Wildlife Association in cooperation with the American
Buffalo Foundation is seeking your support to restore and conserve
wild bison in the Greater Yellowstone Area of southwest Montana.
Two small cattle allotments on Forest Service land in the Taylor
Fork watershed are significant barriers to wild bison recovery on
more than 150,000 acres of public land. With your support we intend to offer
the permittees a fair and reasonable buyout option in order to permanently
restore wild bison range in the Taylor Fork and Buffalo Horn watersheds.
